Deadly artillery shelling in Bakara market somalia

At least seven people were killed in Bakara open-air market after more than ten mortars fired from the presidential palace hit in the trading bazaar on Saturday-witnesses said.

Also a pregnant woman died in Wardhigley district when a mortars hit in a small market in that neighborhood.

The shelling has started later than seven mortars have been fired to the presidential palace as the Ethiopian foreign minister was in the palace that arrived in Mogadishu on early Saturday.

The Gov/Ethio forces have responded with a heavy mortar shelling they hit in Bakara Market where more fatalities occurred.

Nevertheless It’s yet unknown the casualties of the mortars were assaulted in the direction of the presidential palace.
