Yemen envoy to Somalia denies attack Press tv
Yemeni Ambassador to Somalia Ahmed Omar has denied being attacked by insurgents who want all ambassadors to leave the country.

Omar said Sunday that the grenade attack that took place Friday at a school in Mogadishu was a result of disagreements between Somalis factions, Press TV correspondent reported.

Some reports mentioned that Yemen's ambassador to Somalia had survived a grenade attack while attending a ceremony held by members of the Yemeni nationals in Mogadishu.

Insurgents who do not recognize the Somali government urged all ambassadors to leave the country.

Yemen and Libya are the only two states that have sent their ambassadors to the restive country. Attackers previously razed the Ethiopian Embassy in Somalia by mortar attacks.
