MOGADISHU (Mareeg)—Tension has arisen in Hiiraan region in central Somalia after government soldiers started troop movement in near Beledwenye, the regional capital of the region, witnesses said on Wednesday.
Ahlu Sunna Waljama’a fighters have also started amassing troops in Mataban district in Hiraan region to fight along with the government soldiers. 
Government soldiers have recreated back from Beledweyne to Kalaber junction about 25 km north of Beledweyne two weeks ago and the Islamist rebels took over the control of Beledweyne.
Fighters from Hizbul Islam group have been deployed outside the town to prevent attacks from the government soldiers.
Residents expressed fear about the new troop movement in the region and fled areas near the bases of the rival forces.
The government soldiers and the Islamist rebels have been fighting in the region since 2007 and more civilians have been killed in the wars.
