MOGADISHU (Mareeg)—Ahlu Sunna Waljama’a Moderate Islamists have shown reporters three suspected teenagers they said were planning to explode targeted places in Guriel town in central Somalia, officials said on Monday.

 



Mohamed Shidane Dirie, the head of security of Ahlu Sunna Waljama’a told reporters that they caught three teenagers who had bombs and explosives in the town and arrested them. He added that they would bring before a court.

 



It was this morning when the moderate Islamists declared that they caught three people in the trading town of Guriel in Galgaduud region central Somalia.

 



Ahlu Sunna Waljama’a is fighting against al Shabaab in central Somalia and drove al Shabaab out of Guriel town a bout a year ago.

 



Ahlu Sunna controls many towns in central Somalia where they formed administrations under their control.

 



Ahlu Sunna adherents took up arms early this year and started to fight against al Shabaab after they got angry of the desecration of Sufi graves by the Shabaab.
