Somali president says Kampala accord will not be conducted unless parliament approved

Sheik Sharif had attended the lawmakers’ session that was held in Mogadishu today and approved the newly appointed Prime Minister of Somalia Prof. Abdiwaeli Mohamed Ali. In short speech Mr.  Sheriff   praised MPs in supporting the prime minister.


The president indicated that he had held talks with more MPs over the agreement of Kampala saying that people had different opinions from the articles issued in the meeting asserting that the accord would be brought before the parliament of Somalia.


The statement of the Somali president Sheik Sharif Sheik Ahmed comes as some   of the Kampala accord has been full filled despite unhappiness that has been shown by Somali citizens in and out of the country
